How to Measure Your Foot
Follow these steps for the most accurate results
Prepare the Paper
Place a blank piece of paper on a hard, flat floor. Push one edge of the paper firmly against a wall.
Stand and Mark
Stand on the paper with your heel lightly touching the wall. Wear the socks you plan to wear with the shoes. Mark the very tip of your longest toe.
Measure the Length
Use a ruler or tape measure to find the distance from the edge of the paper (the wall) to the mark you made. Record this in cm or inches.
Measure Both Feet
It is normal for one foot to be slightly larger than the other. Always use the measurement of your larger foot when consulting the size chart.

Shoe Sizing FAQ
Answers to the most frequently asked questions about measuring feet and converting international shoe sizes.
Place a piece of paper on a hard floor against a wall. Stand on it with your heel touching the wall. Mark the longest part of your foot (usually the big toe), then measure the distance from the edge of the paper to the mark in centimetres or inches.
Yes, it is generally recommended to size up if your measurement falls exactly between two sizes. It is easier to add an insole or wear thicker socks to fill a slightly large shoe than to stretch a shoe that is too small and causes blisters.
No, UK and US shoe sizes are different. For men, a US size is typically 0.5 to 1 size larger than the UK equivalent. For women, a US size is typically 1.5 to 2 sizes larger than the UK equivalent.
The EU shoe size system (also known as Paris points) is based on the length of the shoe’s last (the mould the shoe is built on), measured in centimetres. One Paris point equals two-thirds of a centimetre (6.67 mm).
Each brand uses its own proprietary “last” (the foot-shaped form around which a shoe is constructed). Additionally, materials like leather stretch over time, while synthetic materials do not, leading brands to adjust their baseline sizing accordingly.
